As many of you already know, I moved to Georgia in October 2006 for a number of reasons --love, prosperity, hope, family and new beginnings. Two of the five ain't so bad, right? WRONG!
Well, the love I sought did not turn out as planned. He left me high and dry! I did, however, get closer to distant relatives. I also got a chance to learn more about my family lineage here in Georgia. Most importantly, I learned to love myself even more.
It's been a loooong journey. Many tears and lonely nights were spent here, but I know this pilgrimage was important. The self-love and self-actualization that was gained here moved me to dig much deeper into my spiritual self. For this, I am grateful to the most high! Amen.
After not getting a job I deeply wanted for the third time, I heard the voice of the God louder and clearer, "Go Home!" With that, and with the blessings of my mother, father, close friends, family and many associates, I'm headed home to Los Angeles.
It's been over 10 years, and I can't wait! Of course, I can't do it without the support of my friends -- all of you guys! I've heard of people doing things like this all the time, but it dawned on me that I have wonderful friends on Twitter, Facebook, Myspace etc. that always tell me to "just ask and we got you!" So here I am, in this new wave of online humility, asking all of you to donate monetarily to my cause.
I figured if 180 of my friends would donate $25.00 each, then I would reach my goal of having at least $4,000 to get started. Each dollar counts. All support is greatly appreciated.
Please donate by clicking on the PayPal button to the right.
Each week, I will post details in blogs about how close we are to the goal. A graph will also be added later this week.
Thank you for your support.
